Bird Dog Training
At Feathers Over Fur we currently offer two different approaches to fine tuning your bird dog.
1. One on one training. This approach is tailored to those that want to be in the field handling their own dog with the guidance and advice of a seasoned dog handler. One on one training will be up to an hour per session and will include all of the gear and birds necessary to get your dog exactly where you want them to be. Cost $50 per hour.
2. Board and train. Board and train is a minimum of a one-month commitment where your dog will live alongside our dogs in their own 8' by 4' kennel. The kennels are situated in a climate-controlled basement with access to an outdoor run surrounded by an 8' privacy fence. A custom tailored training regimen will be applied to your dog based on where there individual level is and what your goals are for your four-legged friend. Cost $750 per month.
